Women’s United Board Gains VCLA Executive Director

Pattie Braga (VCLA's Executive Director and a member of Cohort XVII) was recently appointed by Ventura County Supervisor Matt LaVere to the United Way of Ventura County's (UWVC) Women's United board. "I'm truly honored to serve," Pattie says. "VCLA and the UWVC have a long history together, as they were the fiscal sponsor for VCLA for 21 years before we established ourselves as our own 501(c)3 in 2015. And I have a profound amount of respect for the positive impact the UWVC makes on our community, whether it be through their many programs, including Women's United, their VITA tax filing program, or their Stuff the Bus school supply drive."  Pattie will serve in this position for the next two years.
