As a marketer, educator, and mom with deep roots in Ventura County, she makes a welcome addition to the VCLA team. As a 1999 graduate of Northern Arizona University, she has a BS in Public Relations with an emphasis in Non-profit organizations and a minor in Parks and Recreation Management with an emphasis in Leadership. She began her career in Marketing and Business Development in the financial sector, before changing paths to become an educator, first with the University of California Ag. and Natural Resources Division, and then becoming a preschool teacher/director. She enjoys gardening, cooking, and watching anime with her teens. She's a contributor for AnimeGuide4Moms.com, a site dedicated to providing reviews for parents about anime.
